Colors and their Moods

Choosing the right colors for certain spaces can either make a room or ruin a room. Always pick the right colors for the kind of mood you're trying to promote. Here are the main factors colors create within indoor spaces.

Red- Promotes love and romance. Enhances a space with energy and excitment.
Orange- Creates a friendly, bright, and hopeful enviroment. Makes a room feel warm and inviting.
Yellow- Makes a happy, positive, optimistic enviroment. Should not be over used- it is the hardest color on the eyes.
Green- Creates a calm, peaceful enviroment. It is the easiest color on the eyes, because it reminds  viewers of nature.
Blue- A color used for calm and relaxation that reminds its viewers of the sky and or ocean. Do not over use- too much blue makes a space depressed and lonley.
Purple- Gives off a feeling of royalty. Too much purple can come across as artificial.
Black- Sucks up the majority of light in a room, but can add elegance and detail if not over used.
White- Promotes a clean airy feeling, should be used with lots of accent colors.
Neutrals- Help to create a calm natural enviroment. Reminds viewers of nature and outdoors.
